The families who choose the Abeka Science and Health homeschool books for their children in the primary grades will gain a Christian home school curriculum that supports God as the Creator of all things and denies an evolutionary viewpoint.

For Your Elementary Grades

These popular, traditional Abeka homeschool books will lay a basic foundation in science education with their colorful, enjoyable worktexts. There are companion teacher's editions, answer keys, test booklets, and optional teaching aids at this level.

Additional resources and items to complete lab exercises are suggested for some lessons. Many of these can be found around the home or purchased online.

For Your Intermediate Grades

As your child progresses with this home school science curriculum with books such as these, he will continue to build upon a previously laid foundation of Biblical truths and be introduced to more challenging concepts in grades seven and eight.



Worktexts Science, Order & Design and Matter & Motion in God's Universe continue with the familiar orderly format but will abandon the optional teaching charts and cds found in the younger grades and provide more curriculum guidance and hands-on activities geared for deeper studies.

For Your High School Grades

Abeka's high school homeschool curriculum for science takes your child through much more detailed studies of concentrated science topics from physical science through physics.

At this point, lab manuals, DVD demonstrations, and teacher transparencies can be added to supplement the learning experience and fulfill homeschooling requirements in this subject if needed.

Our Experience

We have used the Abeka series starting with the primary grades when I read all the lessons to them. Later, they eagerly read the lessons for themselves and shared the information with each other.

Our children really had a good understanding of concepts and facts by the time high school subjects were introduced. They had been truly prepared after using these books.
