What's really great about this home school science curriculum is that it is written directly to the student so you don't have to be a scientist to help them with their lessons!

They present their homeschool materials from a Christian, creation-based viewpoint so there are no objectionable references made to "other" theories.

The material lays a solid foundation and also aids students interested in taking AP and CLEP exams.

Our Experience

When we first used their Biology course, we found the companion cd of multimedia extras to be very helpful. It really brought certain topics "to life" for us!

These items are so user-friendly yet they yield tremendous results. Students and parents love them. After you purchase these materials, you and your child will follow these four simple steps:

1. Read the selection and take notes, if applicable
2. Complete lab experiments using household items or optional lab kits
3. Review material and take test
4. Proceed to next module

The publishers at Apologia do not provide daily homeschool lessons but others have uploaded free online resources such as suggested readings and schedules. Do a Google search for examples shared online.

Apologia strives to equip the home schooled student with the essential scientific knowledge to "make a reasoned defense of the Christian faith."

Many children, including my own, have found these resources fairly easy to complete on their own. But, best of all, is the fact that they are also enjoyable as well as thorough.
