What We Did

When using this option in our home, our child was given a laptop of her own to facilitate using the program.

We also provided a dedicated space for the supplemental books and handouts so everything could be kept together.

She worked independently and I reviewed her progress through the courses. I was also able to view the pace at which she was completing her lessons and adjust, if needed.

This type of program works best if your child is self-motivated and enjoys using the computer. It is also a very solitary way of studying so if your child prefers group activities, this could be a challenge for him or her.
